      The Blazing World

      This in-progress scholarly edition of Margaret Cavendish's The Blazing World presents the 1668 publication of the text. The Digital Cavendish Project based this edition upon a corrected version of the EEBO-TCP transcription of the text. Using Hypothesis, readers can see notes that members of the DCP have used to document textual variations between the 1668 standalone edition of The Blazing World and the 1666 version of the text, which was printed as an appendix to Cavendish's Observations upon Experimental Philosophy. Notes on the earlier edition are marked as "66a."
