I hate the punctuation, but accept it if the rest of the book has to be like this. QUT guidelines are her https://qutvirtual4.qut.edu.au/group/staff/engagement/web-publishing/web-authoring-resources/online-style-guide/bullet-and-numbered-lists APA recommends no punctuation if items are short (p.190). Case rested. And I will shut up now (probably not - there will be a little coven of us who groan about it :-))
