    1. skin conductance responses.

What does this mean? "skin conductance response (SCR) is an indirect measure of sympathetic autonomic activity that is associated with both emotion and attention. In humans, the amplitude of SCRs is related to the level of arousal elicited by visual stimuli with either positive or negative emotional valence (Bradley et al. 2001). The amygdala is known to play a crucial role in the evaluation of emotionally relevant stimuli and in the subsequent initiation of appropriate autonomic responses" (Laine)

    2. arachnophobic patients were able to move physically closer to spiders when they vocalized their emotions

imagine a little kid who can't express thier emotions... that can be difficult to deal with because we don't know how to help them feel better. I think this concept is similar, that if people can vocalize their emotions better, it will help those around them be more understanding and helpful of their mental health. Therefore, affect labeling has a bigger picture to it than just making you feel better.

    3. changed their cardiovascular reactivity by lowering their heart rate and cardiac output.

This is something I want to point out, because it seems especially positive for your health to keep your heart rate down in times of anger and distress, just like if you exercise enough that your heart rate doesn't get so high during regular activity throughout the day, meaning it doesn't have a work as hard in those small activities and it's healthier.

    4. Affect labeling

defining this from Wikipedia: "an implicit emotional regulation strategy that can be simply described as "putting feelings into words". Specifically, it refers to the idea that explicitly labeling one's, typically negative, emotional state results in a reduction of the conscious experience, physiological response, and/or behavior resulting from that emotional state."
