      This is an interesting point that I did not think about previously. History helps people to identify where themselves and their family came from, which helps in forming your own personal identity. It is important to know the history of your own family and culture in order to understand where you are as a community and be aware of how your culture is affected by that today.

      This is true because movies that are made for entertainment purposes but are based on real historical events are a good way to get people interested in history, cultures, and things that people really went through.

    4. These questions were along the lines of what popped into my head while reading up to this point. History does need to be taught and learned so that we can learn from the mistakes of our past, as well as to establish what is already known so we can keep advancing. It must be taught so that enough people are up to date on previously discovered knowledge in order to prevent us from moving backwards.
