What stood out to me most is that college involves more than just academic adjustment. Students also have to adjust socially, emotionally, and financially, which can affect their success in school. I think the social and academic adjustments will probably be the biggest challenges for many first-year students including myself.

A lot of students feel like they have to figure everything out on their own but in reality, students use resources and ask for help when they need it to be succesful. This connects to the article about hidden curriculum because knowing where to get help is a big part of doing good in college.
