FamilyInfo: See figure 3 for pedigree. In family 2, the proband (Patient 2 in the paper) was a 50 year old female who presented with bilateral renal cell carcinoma, pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor, and a renal cyst. The proband's sister was diagnosed with a pancratic NET and died of a hemorrhagic stroke at 40 years of age. Their mother also died of a stroke at 50 years of age. Sanger sequencing on her family members detected the same mutation in her mother, sister, brother, and nephew. The proband's brother and nephew refused further VHL-related examination.
