I got maybe like seven or six funding from all different institutions like Korean Film Council, Busan International Film Festival, Sundance Institute – so many different organizations. But I didn’t get a big chunk of money, so collecting all these small funds took many years. Actually I finished the first draft within two months, but then since this process took a while . . . I was actually lucky enough to work on the script in a detailed manner and I got lucky that I didn’t get any commercial money. So this film exists as it is.
