Wollstonecraft suggests that a woman's sole purpose in society is to pleasure men while, they're out in the world dealing with loads of business like obligations and responsibilities. In my view of today's society that is something that does not simply apply. As far as i'm concerned some single mothers take on the role of both a mother and father.

A great emphasis is placed into the character of the tiger, as he is described as king of the forests and virtually 'immortal', his attributes and dominance demands respect. A beast of such magnitude and that will lash out on you and rearrange your face is not to be reckoned with.

I happened to notice that the word tiger is spelled with a Y instead, with an I. The old English spelling of tiger suggests that the author is trying to drag us back to a more distant time and place.
A little black thing among the snow, Crying “weep! ‘weep!” in notes of woe! “Where are thy father and mother? say?”
In this particular stanza it appears to me that a kid or someone has lost a loved one and is asking his or her parents where they are? By his or her great agony of sadness and weep everything seems lost.

The term anvil(s) was used in Ancient Greek and Egyption writings. As for its origin and history, anvils first appeared in the area of what is today modern day Turkey.and Iran, dating back to six thousand B.C. Interestingly, older anvils saw to have contained fragments of meteorites. Another thing to note is that they were used as musical instruments. For example, in heavy metal it featured in Judas Priest’s 1990 song “Between the Hammer and Anvil” as a pitched percussion tool.
