    1. c.277 G>Cap.G93R

53 patients with a molecularly confirmed VHL mutation (by PCR through EDTA-anticoagulated blood) and a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor (ICT) were collected from the German NET-Registry and the German VHL-registry. An additional 296 patients were stated in this paper with a VHL associated germline mutation, but without pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors. 1 patient was found to have the above mutation (c.277G>C). Other clinical manifestations outside of a pancreatic neuroendocrine tumor are possible, but were not discussed. ACMG evidence codes: 'PP2' because they observe a missense variant in a gene where missense variants are a common mechanism of disease.

    1. c.277G>C

Fresh frozen (nZ69) and formalin-fixed paraffinembedded (FFPE; nZ30) specimens, including PCCs/PGLs and normal adrenal medullas (nAM), were collected by hospitals through the Spanish National Tumor Bank Network (CNIO) and by the Instituto Oncologico Veneto in Italy. Tumor ids VHL_1-12 were frozen samples. Tumor VHL_7 was an adrenal pheochromocytoma found with a c.277G>C germline mutation in a 36Y old male. It should be noted that this mutation is described as c.277G>C with p.G39R protein change. However, the cDNA given does not match the protein position and therefore was assumed to be p.G93R. Other demographics and pheonotype information was not available.
