301 were enrolled in a prospective clinical protocol to evaluate the natural history of vHL-associated pancreatic lesions (NCT00062166). Of these, 69 patients with pancreatic manifestations of vHL disease and missense VHL mutations were included in the current study. Individual patient phenotype was not described, but overall of the 60 patients, 57 had RCC, 41 had CNS hemangioblastomas, 28 had retinal hemangioblastoma, 23 had pheochromocytoma. 36/69 patients were female and the mean age was 50.5 years old. All patients underwent genetic testing using Sanger sequencing and Southern Blotting. One patient was listed with this missense mutation, c.278G>T.

GroupInfo: This family group of 1 individual has clinically confirmed VHL disease presenting with retinal angiomatosis. This individual was found to harbor a c.278G>T variant causing a Gly93Val missense mutation (noted in the paper as c.491G>T due to Latif reference transcript being used).
