Page 151 - although I stand more on the side of Peruvian culture, I do not think everything is the bewitchment of another. the solution to the stated bewitchment in the culture are efficient for long-term stability. I believe that most issues start with the self in some way. for example: rosa's case could very well have been revenge but it could have also been a case of regret, depression, loneliness(page 149). in berta's case, she could have simply found another man sexually attractive after several years of marriage - this is not bewitchment, this is simply a test of temptation.
