      This reminds me of Lara Boyd's ted talk and how she Acknowledges healthy brain exercises. Activities together as classmates based off of a variety of interesting texts sounds like amazing weekly brain exercising!

      The thought of innovating the way I participate in discourse and analyze discourse is exciting. My interpretation is we will be pushing ourselves to learn outside of our comfort zone in different ways throughout the semester.

      This book generally seems up my alley, especially with the environmental disaster aspect! I recently read the book: I Cheerfully refuse and I imagine there will be some similarities.
