My opinion of Marji hasn't changed. She's still young and I don't think that her actions as a young girl should determine her personality.

As Satrapi shows, Marji is learning about the revolutionaries of her country. We see Marji coming of age here because we see her learning important events about her country.

This shows one way the revolution effected Marji's life. Her father was a photographer and she often feared for his life as he could be imprisoned if he was caught.

When it came to religion, Marji believed that she would be a prophet. She truly trusted God and believed that he chose her to one day help bring peace for everyone.

Marji was very sure about her stance, knowing that she wants to help her family and her people.

I would be her friend because you can tell that she is very caring and just wants a world where everyone can be happy and want for nothing.

She is bothered about the way the country she grew up in is being viewed. She wants to tell the truth about living in Iran while all of these events were occuring.
