    1. (Page 10) wow I kind of hate the objective view. I mean, I understand the thinking behind it but just the idea of "the role of the teacher or instruction [is to] interpret events for [students]" seems disgusting to me. It's literally telling people how to think. There's that whole story of a kid who loved drawing flowers and his teacher told him he could only draw red flowers with green stems and after a while, that's all he would draw when he drew flowers. It's harsh and stifling.

    2. (Page 1 annotation of "Mind". Annotations seem to not be working right now.)This concept of the mind being the ability to think made me think of our conversation of where exactly memories are stored anatomically and the debate of what is a soul. To me, cognition and memory are part of the soul which is something we do not understand. After all, we are told in the scriptures that we will take memories with us to the afterlife so to me memories are not physical. In this reading, they are also saying the "mind" isn't physical. It's cool to think about. (Edit: lol page 7 literally says that. Isn't that cool that my thought process is similar to some cognitive scientists)
