    1. purpose of grading

Before reading the rest of the text I believe the purpose of grading is to evaluate student work and offer comments. In this method, instructors can let students know how they are doing in the class and what areas they need extra support in order to succeed.

    2. relative grading can be unfai

Because, like the text said, comparisons are frequently made between students in the same class, relative grading can be detrimental to learners and their own grade. I personally believe relative grading isn't the best option in the classroom.

    1. Reciprocal Learning.

It challenges readers to reflect on their own cognitive processes. It also teaches students how to actively participate in their learning and keep track of their reading comprehension.

    1. Logical consequences

Disciplinary measures called logical consequences are meant to educate children about better behavior choices rather than to penalize them. I believe that logical consequences are meant to deter students from misbehaving and encourage them to make better decisions.

    2. Formative assessment

Formative assessment is very important because it aims to keep track of student learning and provide continual feedback that both students and teachers can utilize to enhance their instruction. Since it establishes whether or not objectives are being reached, assessment is a crucial component of instruction. The selection of the assessment's objectives and its subject matter must be actively handled by teachers. The goal of assessment is to acquire information regarding student performance, or to identify student interests so that learning process evaluations can be made

    1. Learning objectives must be quantifiable.

Students can discover what is asked of them in a course via the measurable learning objectives. They make clear what they should learn as a result of interacting with teachers, classmates, the course material, and tasks.

    2. Learning objectives should be concise, well-defined statements of what students will know, understand,

By letting our learning objectives guide our material or activity, we will find content that can be cut or an activity that has to be adjusted since it isn't quite hitting the mark with what students need to be learning.
