    1. Perhaps vaccine skeptics rely more on Facebook because they distrust the media.

      Throughout this entire pandemic. one thing I have learned is that there is a lot of back and fourth regarding the vaccine on facebook, and I have seen that it is completely swayed by the media and who is specifically talking about it. This observation made by the author in my opinion is very important because I think theres "distrust in the media" on a lot of different levels and platforms. I do wish the author concluded this sentence more in depth and covered this more than just that one sentence, it's a cliff hanger.

      I found this sentence very interesting, but sadly it's hard to jump straight into believing this due to the author failing to back this up with research or any outside source.

    1. So I can’t say I was surprised when I heard about Tom McCarthy’s new film.

      She states that she lacked in the media that covered her and consumed her? In this entire article I have gotten the idea that she was actually more involved with what the media was saying about her constantly.

    2. being under that microscope has given me insight into how wrong a media narrative can be, how easy it is for all of us to consume other people’s lives as if they were mere content to fill up our Twitter feeds.

      I feel very passionate about this statement, because I personally know how social media can just give off the wrong impression or idea and even destroy peoples life because everything o the media can be edited and change for the worse in some cases.

    3. a warped assumption that turned me into a monster to some and a saint to others.

      the swayed views about either being a monster or a saint due to the fact that our justice system opening up, and the public finding out then allowing there thoughts and opinions to choose the side they want to be on without any real knowledge.

    4. Looking for work, going back to school, buying tampons at the pharmacy, everywhere I went I met people who already thought they knew who I was, what I’d done or not done, and what I deserved.

      I find this sentence to be how people now days feel, always in this constant fear of being in the wrong, accused falsely, just living in the fear no matter where you go its like theres people breathing down your back constantly.
