      Considering how much the state of public media has changed in just the last two decades, I wonder how this assessment has changed. Many still get their science news in writing, but the vast majority of it is still online, either through online versions of print media like newspapers, or through social media. I especially wonder how science communication can even be spread through social media. It's very common to see misinformation on these platforms, but spreading actual science information might be a viable strategy in the future (or even currently).
