Annotating here. I’m guessing it’s going to cause a lot of anxiety and frustration and non-participation, since the interface is a bit unintuitive, and your students tend to have a low frustration tolerance and low figuring-it-out on their own skill level. Once they get it down, it might be okay, but it might be easier to just copy the text you want into a private shared google page or similar entity, and have them edit that.
