    1. Work comes out of life. Where else would your work come out of, if not your experience? Being a queer woman is the air that I breathe, and it’s inescapable, and it’s going to be part of the work.

      Eisenman demonstrates how she invokes identity politics in her work. She expresses that your work has to come from somewhere so why not let it come from your real life.

      This quote speaks to me personally. As a women I feel that we are seen as less and are not treated equally. Gender shouldn't matter if you're doing your job correctly and to the best of your ability. And in real life situations if you're not hurting anyone your gender shouldn't affect how someone sees you.

      In this she is speaking as a black women standing up for other black people. She is trying to express that black people shouldn't have to see themselves as anything less than the amazing person they are.

      This is an example of the way she is challenging biases through her work. She is in awe and beautifully shows black skin.

      This part of the article speaks to me personally because she expresses who she is and is showing that she is a strong women who is confident in who she is. I think in the world today its important fro all women to feel this way.
