I wish in my school there was more of an emphasis of what this is and what the word means to better help people understand the overall goal it is thy should or more so could have.

Listening to our kiddos is helping us just as much as it does help them!

Goes back to this 100 languages we need all of that too as adults

As sad as this is, I think we see it all the time in so many ways we tell children to do things when it becomes more of a teacher power play than an actual respecting of our children and the rights they do have.

We are the ones who end up having such a hard time with these things and tend to be the ones who push it almost on to our children.

I love the ability they have to find the joy in these little things and truly how important each and every one of these things is to them.

Not totally sure about this, I agree we as teachers need to have a good rapport with parents but, there comes point where it is on the parents to accept and trust us as educators.

What we as teachers need to be doing always providing an environment for our students to really thrive, and be that strength not to do things for them but for them to learn that power within themselves.

I love the idea of starting our day with questions to ourselves.

So important. There is so much importance in listening to our children and following their lead, they all have so much to offer.
