    1. House of Hunger.

      House of Hunger is an imagery of the mindset of the people or Zimbabwe. That means that the rooms inside represent different views of those people. And because it’s one house, it basically means that they are all connected, supposedly.

      Jerusalem is a city of peace, or so they say. It's a sign of welfare and prosperity, everything that is not present in the House of Hunger.

      Khaki is a light shade of brown with yellow undertones. It’s a color that’s been introduced in 1848 and its name has been used since then.

      (32) When we first meet Julia, we can clearly see a kind of hovering of a major idea of change for the better or worse, because there's Immaculate that has been mentioned earlier in the book and now Julia, who's been changed from a supposedly normal girl into a "beer hall doll" there's a change motif that I cannot put my head around.

      It's really weird to me that someone would name someone else with such a word even though there is more meaning behind it. Immaculate stands for perfect, no fault and absolutely right. Maybe there's another idea that I cannot get my head behind even though it's probably something real easy to catch?

      Msasa tree - also known as zebrawood, or its latin name Brachystegia Spiciformis has fragrant green flowers and during spring its leaves turn red. The colour can also be described as amber or wine-ish.
