Applying Utilitarian lens for pacing AI, the benefit that can be lost is rather a lot. AI is already causing enormous amount of money to be spent in today's time already with more harm being done than good. With pacing AI, it would be an enormous operation, in training, data centers, millions of chips and thousands of people working overtime, not to mention how some AI's are rather invasive to privacy.

According to the article pacing AI, AI focuses more on what could help the majority of people in terms of physical safety and economics. Not what they need or want.

I would need to know a lot. Such as would there start to be credit for the works that artist and writers receive from their works are being stolen? Kinda like a watermark? Would I be able to work freely without the stress that my job is going to get taken simply because I work with technology? Cause I know that still is happening. I would need to know a lot, especially if AI is still going to be around.

I think the quote "Carefully wielded, AI can be the latest in a long line of technological miracles that have uplifted and ennobled humanity." Cause I was assuming if wielded carefully would AI be able to be accessible to the medical field. In diagnosing a patient, in being an alert for major things, in assisting nurses in charting or printing just overall being helpful but not taking their jobs.
