that you need because of your religious beliefs or disability.
discrimination can be also of religion too. ive seen people judge muslin females for the scarf on their head.

Discrimination can occur while you are at school, at work, or in a public place, such as a mall or subway station.
truth is discrimination an happen ANYWHERE. its hard to find places where discrimination is rare. i say that because there are MANY forma of discrimination: with age, race, height Etc.
arassment by managers, co-workers, or others in your workplace, because of your race, color, religion, sex
harassment is common in work places. for men and for women. one example that comes to mind is dress code. a man comes to work not following the dress code: its a problem but not big of a deal depending on the job. A woman comes to work and is dressed "inappropriately" its a debate
Unfair treatment because of your race, color, religion,
I feel like when i get into the sports management field i will face these challenges because of my race. in that field people are predominantly white. theirs only a small percentage of people of race. and mostly those people have played the sport and retired and most likely became analyst of the sport. with me i will probably be treated unfairly not only because of my race but my accent. in their heads i might not have the right "vocabulary".
You may be familiar with the word "discrimination." But do you know what it really means? And do you understand how it applies in the context of your job?
To my definition discrimination means hating on somebody and excluding them because of gender, skin color, etc. Another reason could be simply because they are different. discrimination could be categorization someone and because you dont identify with their "category" you treat them unfairly
You have a right to complain about treatment that you believe is illegal job discrimination. Your employer cannot punish you, treat you differently or harass you if you report job discrimination
Easier said than done. i feel that the job tat treating you unfairly will get mad that you reported them, because now its a bad look for them.
You have a right to work free of discrimination. This means that your employer cannot make job decisions because of your race,
what if its a good thing? what if they hire you because they like your race? is that a bad thing if your the person they hired.
You have a right to work in an environment free of harassment based on race, color, religion, sex
a lot of job places know that but dont follow it. i was told employers and job people will fire you if they dont like your race and sexuality, etc. When they fire they would give you the reason bluntly, they would try to make it sound professional; which is even worse in my opinion because they arent being upfront about it.
As a manager, your actions don't just reflect on you, they also impact your company. This means that your company is responsible if you act inappropriately.
As a manger if you treat someone unfairly, it will have a bad image on you. And your company is in trouble too because the word can get around fast. if another person wants to work for your company, they might not want to anymore because they heard you dont treat your employees well. employees want to be treated fairly and with respect.
