I would have to say all of my instructors may prefer the email method. We are an online class. Professor Jeanette Alvarez gets online every Wednesday from 06:00pm-07:00pm via teams.

I attend to school online. It's not typically during office hours. However, e-mail would be my go to.

I will actively stay engaged by note taking and possibly asking questions if the professors ask if anyone may have a question.

I tend to yawn. However, I will be taking notes to look back over because of feeling tired to ensure of my understanding.

I will write down a list of questions and bring the list of questions to ask the professor during office hours or at another time or during a scheduled visit or by email.

Participating more will enhance my comprehension and develop networking skills.

I intend on being more intentional in my writing and psychology classes.

I try to participate in all classes. However, if it's a topic that I really find intriguing, I suppose I would possibly be even more active than I typically am.

I keep myself motivated to reach my goals. I am pursing my passion, and I know this is steps to get closer to obtaining my goals. Also, being financially responsible for five children by myself is a motivator by itself.

I may not be able to attend a class because I am that "Non-Tradionial" student who also has very important priorities that has to come before a class. If I knew in advance, I would communicate that with my professor with advance timing and inquire about other ways that I could possibly be able to listen or watch the lecture at a different time or different way. Such as a recording.

I believe proper planning is important to ensure work is being done in the most time effective manner. Research, creating a PowerPoint, and writing speaking notes along with practicing public speaking are all equally as important. Every role is important and requires special attention, so you know you're proving too much or too little research information, pictures, navigating slides while speaking, and confidently speaking about the topic that is engaging.

I would research my next course goals and ask for their opinion on what courses would strengthen me end goals. I'd also inquire about internships and anything I could be doing that I am not aware of. If I were to foresee challenges, I would ask if the professor has ever experienced similar challenges and how the professor was able to navigate through them.

Create a list of all the questions you need to ask. After class is over, come prepared with your list of questions and ask if the professor has a moment to answer some questions, or, if you could schedule time to sit down with the professor to ask questions during school hours. (Professors work hours) Another option is to email your questions to your professor so that the professor can check it on their time.

When I have a question about an assignment or reading. I typically e-mail because I am only taking course online. I also will write in the "Ask a question" discussion post to see if another student could possibly provide their perception.

I am not hesitant to speak up in class or to see an instructor, because I want to make sure that I am understanding correctly and that I am doing what is asked of me.

I have spoken with Professor Eric Bridges to gain clarification on assignments recently. However, I have not communicated with other professors as of yet. I intend to!

Participating in class means that you are engaging with the lesson and learning. Getting to know your other students along with your professor go a long way when it comes to networking and building a support system. Your professor may even offer to write a letter of recommendation for you. Provide more insight. Inform you about jobs that are not posted online or in ads. Support you with finding other classes you could take in the future to strengthen your major/goals. Being a mentor. Knowing someone is cheering for you.

I am known to take the lead. However, it's a group presentation so I would ask that everyone meets up in an hour or two to discuss some team rules and expectations. Then as a team delegate specific areas each person will contribute to. I am comfortable with public speaking so that would be my preferred role. My least favorite role is also my preferred role. I tend to experience cotton mouth. I am open to whatever role makes us the most effective.

Stand up straight and look at various people. Smile and keep your body open (no crossed arms).

Two of the most important things you can do to reduce anxiety about a class presentation is preparing my speaking notes and practicing my presentation.

What has worked best for me while having to public speak is truly knowing about the topic I am speaking about. If I understand the topic, then I am likely more confident with the information that I am discussing. I haven't done this for class, but I do it in my current role when sharing the programs that I oversee.

Some traits that I would highly value in a professor is being honest, intentional, provides feedback on my work. Most of all, empowering!
