If dystopia helps to scare us into working harder on that project, which maybe it does, then fine: dystopia. But always in service to the main project, which is utopia.
I think for me personally, thinking of things in a positive way would definitely encourage me to work harder than thinking of things negatively and working out of fear
I would suggest that science is the strongest ideology for estimating what’s physically possible to do or not do.

I actually thought about this statement because the strongest is not usually the strongest in all aspects. The weakest may actually be stronger where the 'strongest' is weak and be able to come out on top.
