The connection with French co0untries is that the language is not only vast and complex, but the countries that speak it are also vast and complex. There are different cultures in those individual countries that speak French, but they all come together for one language, French. Just like a galaxy with individual stars. The graphs emphasize the actual statistics of French speaking countries. They provide evidence of the text. These graphs compliment the text.
