      some personal experiences I have with large social issues include the lack of teachers because all throughout y not having a consistent teaching base did have an affect on our learning abilities.

      I think that opening up and letting kids explore their curiosity at a young age is a great way for kids to have early learning experiences and develop critical thinking skills at a young age.

    1. Please be careful not to fall in love with your writing. We all do it from time to time because we spent time and energy creating and perhaps are not able to envision the paper from another perspective.

      I have ran into this issue thinking my writing was great but instead it could have been a lot better.

      just learned about this in another class how we think we write best in the middle of the night but instead it is just a paper with a broken up stream of consciousness.

    1. Accepting all offers means to be open to the feedback you are receiving, which you take and then evaluate it to see if and how you will use in your revision plan.

      I am very open as I know I can always improve on something.

      I might include some info in my introduction to help connect with me better. i can also do a better job of wrapping up my conclusion as it tends to become repetitive .

      When I write a paper I tend to plan out a small rough draft in my head before writing but I do not think about it for too long as I will get distracted and off track. I then begin to write while loosely following my plan which seems to work for me because when I keep on writing without thinking of a strict rubric my writing flows better. I introduce whatever topic I am going to write about with some added background info as well. After that I introduce my subclaims while inserting evidence backed up with explanations until I reach my conclusions.

    1. Schema-building: What does “reading” mean to you? Who are you as a reader? How would you describe your reading process?(required)

      reading to me means engaging with text and understanding the meaning or information that drives from the text, this could be a book or like a news article. As I reader I am someone looking for theme or purpose of text, i would describe myself as an analytical reader.

    1. After reading Writing in Academic Communities, describe a situation when you found yourself in a new "Discourse Community." How did it feel? Did you feel that you had to conform, or that you could be yourself? What cues, conventions, or standards of that Discourse Community made you feel that way?

      I found myself in a new discourse community when I entered the world of day trading as there were terms for every little detail which almost felt like a new language. I felt very out of place and when I talked to other people in the community I felt like I was out of place or they would see me as dumb because I did not really know what I was talking about. The frequent use of different and new terms and vocab made me feel this way.

    1. The best way to make a positive impression is to show interest in or curiosity for what your professor is interested in. So ask questions

      asking questions are a great way to show ur interest.

    2. I offered her extra time to complete her assignments, she kindly refused, holding tightly to her work ethic

      I think this is important as she knew what she wanted and needed to succeed and she stuck with it.

      I think that real life experiences are important because they are the most raw and natural examples you could learn about and you could possibly relate to them in some sense because they are based off real life.

      i think that hypothesis is good as it lets everyone have their own perspective that can be viewed by others.

      testing only benefits the people that are naturally good at book stuff and leaves out all types of people especially people who struggle with standardized testing.
