    1. So, is multimodality an effective approach to learning languages?

      Multimodality is a very effective approach to learning a language. This is due to its many characteristics such as engagement, reinforcement, comprehensive understanding, memory retention, and adaptability. Each of these vairy from student to student while some might focus and utilize one more than the other. By incorporating a variety of learning techniques, learners can benefit from a richer and deeper understanding of the material. This gives the learner a more effective educational experience and allows them to saturate the material more.

    1. By being aware of different ways of learning, we realize how valuable all the input is that we take in. You might not know how to say “This is a strawberry” off the top of your head in Japanese now, but you are likely to more easily recognize that same sentence structure the next time you hear it.

      Social learning involves interaction with text, reading, and writing activities. Along with this, the knowledge of conjugates allows learners to interpret the meaning of words from another language. Conjugates make it easier to recognize the same sentence structure. Conjugates enhance learning from different languages that have similar forms and meanings. Can significantly benefit language learning by building vocabulary, context, grammar, memory and confidence for a particular language.

    1. the more our brain refines pathways for fluency. We need both and they work together to facilitate our language learning process.

      Declarative knowledge involves understanding facts and information while immersion allows us to apply this knowledge in real world context. This reinforces learning and making connections more intuitively. Combining both enhances our ability to practical understanding and enhances our ability to use knowledge effectively.

    1. Behaviorism explains learning by saying, “People need to be directed and […] if the stimulus is something that the individual wants (a reward) or fears (a punishment), then the individual will respond accordingly and there will be a noticeable change in behaviour”

      Understanding these dynamics of people being led by punishment or reward gives humans the feeling of accomplishment and purpose. We can better direct our actions towards personal growth goal setting. Overtime an individual will realize their punishment and reward system developing resilience and achieving a greater grade of life.

    1. Language can be an exquisite and precise means of expressing your thoughts, desires, and emotions in words

      Being able to use language to communicate allows us to convey complex and new ideas. This makes being able to speak and understand multiple languages a powerful tool fir communication. This ability to articulate and share our inner thoughts helps build connections creating a stronger community.
