      I've been told this in music rehearsal, you can't just stay in the present you have to look ahead. To be a good musician you have to not only be in the moment but be ahead of it anticipate what you're going to play. You can't act suprise you have to be confident.       I'm thrilled Gomez understands this. I feel as though more people should remember this, especially celebrities. The stupid things someone posts on social media doesn't just go away; everything has a meaning, even if it wasn't intended. It was unexpected that this was mentioned in the text, but I'm happy this came up.

      I really enjoy this quote, it shows how you don't have to take everything at face value. I believe it always good to question and be a little confused. Earlier I was confused and looked a word up to make sure I was understanding it correctly. I kept reading and my confusion was kind of solved with the reading but I enjoyed questioning the text.

      I'm really interested in what they mean by this. I don't really understand what they mean by " Present rhetorical situations". When I read rhetorical word I think of "(of a question) asked in order to produce an effect or to make a statement rather than to elicit information:"(Google search on the meaning). In this context that meaning didn't make sense so I'm just a bit confused.

      I feel as though to be a good writer you need to be a good reader and vice versa. They go hand in hand, its good to study and read other's writing seeing as it can aid in your writing and show how other's phrase words and sentences differently. It's good to write because, you really get to see the inner workings of an author. The emotions they're trying to convey and you can recognize patters and style of writing you might use. I'm really glad the reading mentioned this because its something I believe and try to live by.
