if new generations don't learn a way of life it ceases to exist. I know this cause im Haitian and my mom didnt really teach us much of her culture so i didnt pick up much but i learned it my self to make sure none of it disappear with her. for example something like hot sauce but call picklesis it made with vegatables and onion and hot peppers. it only existes because someone passed it down my family.
