LY corporations created a dedicated HCI team after they realized that many of their company problems could be solved using HCI methods. This article also explains how researches use models like Fitt's Law to measure how quickly and accurately the users can click or tap the targets on screens.

I believe Steve Jobs handled this well when the audience member asked me what he has done and insulted him. Steve Jobs answered it well and professional. He answered the guys question and explained his reasoning.

1. Designers influence how society thinks and behaves through social media.
2. Because of technology, it has helped reduce barriers for people who have disabilities in the workplace. In the video he asked to stand up if you have any disabilities that he said and almost everyone stood up.

I believe dark patterns should be banned and if a company continues to use this then it should be fined and have legal actions taken. Designers and tech companies have a responsibility to the people to make good products without manipulating the people. The count down tactic gets a lot of people and its just alot of misinformation.
