    1. general led by New York Attorney General Letitia James filed an amicus brief late Thursday in support of 18-year-old Drew Adams. In the lawsuit – now before the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta – Adams challenges the St. Johns County School Board's policy that prohibits transgender stu

    1. These guys worked so hard all year going all the way back to the offseason program in April and just grinding it out day after day. In the biggest moments when we had to play our best football and compete the hardest, they did it."

proud of this team and their hard work

    2. At 41 years old, Brady also is the oldest starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl, eclipsing Peyton Manning, who was 39 when he won Super Bowl 50.

Good for him he is in good shape

    1. "They’re now up and front and a part of our school communities," Shoultz said. "It’s not just an Iowa City thing. More and more kids are feeling more comfortable to identify with the gender they identify with, not the ones they were assigned."

Ugh you're not "assigned" your gender you're born with it because God-created you that way! The way they described the changes they made I don't necessarily have a problem with thought I feel like it is more inclusive even for boys and girls who are not LGBT but the fact that it focuses on that is sad

    2. Central Kitsap High School went gender-neutral in 2017. This year, instead of a homecoming king and queen, there were two "sovereigns.

I think this is so sad. I believe you were not assigned a gender. You were born a boy or girl because that’s how God made you. Yes there are some rare cases where they know when they are young that they were meant to be a boy but they are a girl or know they should be a girl but you were born a boy. But to make a decision in high school that you don’t identify as either is rediculous. I feel it is an out for them. High school is a hard time for everyone Poole are judge mental and mean but it has become popular to not identify as a gender at all and I think it is rediculous.

    1. "By the time I had put one foot out the door, I felt that something was weird and that's when everyone just collapsed and the guy behind me disappeared," Raven Guerra, 20, told "Good Morning America." "Everyone was on the floor and people were screaming and there was wood sticking up from the floorboards."

Once again, to be at a party just like any other day and be leaving as you hear a crash and the person standing behind you vanishes. All the people you were their with fall through a hole in the ceiling. screaming, and crying in pain.

    2. Videos shot at the scene showed a large party with people jumping around and dancing when the floor suddenly gave out from under them.

I can't imagine how scary it must be to go to a college party just like every other weekend then to suddenly be in the basement and in the hospital.

    1. “They might be grouping up with a family, and they might be looking like they’re just doing fine, but it turns out that they may not have the same access to resources that the other elephants have.”

Poachers are taking mothers for their own gain. Baby elephants are struggling to grow the same that they would if they were with their biological mother.

    2. poaching crisis, which kills some 30,000 elephants each year.

Poaching is something we struggle with here in america. I feel like animals are on this earth to provide for us but animals are being killed for something but poachers aren't using the whole animal. The ivory from their tusks is all the poachers want.

    1. The first suspect walked behind the counter, picked up a bar stool and struck the employee on the head, police said. The first suspect also picked up a bowling ball and smashed it on the back of the employee’s head.

The audacity of people today amazes me. Why? People are so violent and I can't imagine hurting someone in this way. A bar stool, and a bowling ball hit this man on his head. I hope these terrible people come to justice.

    2. Police are searching for two suspects seen viciously attacking an employee — with hard violent punches and a bowling ball — at a Michigan bowling alley last week.

People are crazy!!! Who hits somebody with a bowling ball?? I hope they find suspects and arrest those who are guilty.

    1. Beginning with Nurmagomedov scaling the cage to attack fellow fighter Dillon Danis on the outside, the UFC 229 main event turned into one of the more embarrassing moments in mixed marital arts history.

This was a childish act and he should be disappointed in himself

    1. The city feels on edge. The quake razed the walls of local prisons, letting more than 1,200 convicts loose.

Once again totally mind boggling how quickly the foundation can come crumbling down.

    2. THE houses, shops and restaurants that used to line the waterfront in the city of Palu are now just piles of debris.

I find it terrible how quick things can change. What mother nature can do.I pray for the families that are struggling right now

    1. The court's decision supporting the teen, Kavanaugh argued, "is ultimately based on a constitutional principle as novel as it is wrong: a new right for unlawful immigrant minors in U.S. Government detention to obtain immediate abortion on demand."

I wholeheartedly agree with this not only are they illegal immigrants but they shouldn't get the help of our doctors for being irresponsible.

    1. A few hours later, Judge Kavanaugh delivered a blistering, scorched-earth defense. Speaking through tears at points, he denied that he assaulted Dr. Blasey — “I am innocent of this charge!” — and denounced a partisan “frenzy” bent on destroying his nomination, his family and his good name.

This is truly disappointing. Ford is ruining him for nothing. She cant remember when it happened, where it happened, at what time. This is such baloni. Kavanaugh is a good man. 65 Women who knew him in highschool spoke on his behalf. WHy are we still talking about this? In addition even if he allegedly did what she is claiming, he didn't rape her.

    2. His open attacks on Democrats — at one point, he turned a question around on Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, asking if she had a drinking problem — led members of that party to question his temperament and impartiality as a justice.

This is actually the dumbest thing I have ever read. If they are going to sit up there and accuse him of things they couldn't even answer for themselves they shouldn't even be having this discussion.

    1. Over the years surveys have found that there are about 2,400 great white sharks living in California waters, but scientists suspect that number has grown because of improved ocean water quality and warmer ocean temperatures.

Will sharks be more of a threat as the years go by or will we be able to problem solve and prevent this from happening again?

    2. Shark bites are extremely rare and generally happen when the fish mistakes swimmers or surfers for sea lions or other marine animals, scientists believe.

I find it interesting the shark was that close to shore. We are told that sharks are not after humans but why was it so close to shore looking for sea lions?

    1. “I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Friday. “I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!”

She hasn't done this because she knows that he will be able to prove it wasn't him because it never even happened.

    2. With Kavanaugh’s nomination hanging in the balance, and a poll showing he is the least popular supreme court nominee for more than 30 years, Trump waded into the row by impugning Ford’s credibility.

Seeing that I don;t agree with Ford I feel like this puts a bad rap on women. Here Kavanaugh is ready to be super court justice and this women who cant even remember if it was him gets to ruin his life forever on something he may not have even done?

    1. pinning her on a bed, groping her and covering her mouth to keep her from screaming when they were teenagers.

Allegedly he didn't even rape her he groped her. yes that is terrible and it sounds like it has hurt her but she has stated in other articles she is not sure it was him. It was 36 years ago they were teenagers. why is this still even a discussion?

    2. she or her parents would have reported it to the authorities when it happened more than 30 years ago.

I 100% agree with Trump. She came out with her alleged allegation as a political move.

    1. All 100 counties in North Carolina had at least one type of National Weather Service alert, from a flash-flood warning to a hazardous weather outlook, in effect for Sunday or the days ahead.

I cannot believe that people didn't leave right when they saw this. Though we don't experience that kind of weather so they were probably not worried about it.

    2. The storm has “never been more dangerous than it is right now,” Gov. Roy Cooper

This is such a crazy storm that people all across the nation are coming in to help including gov.Roy Cooper.

    1. Sections of two interstates, I-40 and I-95, were shut down because of flooding and debris. Several rivers approached record levels, and officials warned that cresting in some areas won't come until later in the week.

The fact that the flooding is so terrible that they had to shut down freeways is astonishing. This family wasn't safe on the second story of the house is terrible.

    2. could see up to 40 inches before the rain ends this week. The damage isn't confined to the coast

This is crazy. You would think that it would stay toward the coast but it isn't. This is insane and when our nation needs to pull together to help out.

    1. They strain to keep faith when the vice president publicly walks out of a football stadium because players bend a knee in silent protest of racial injustice just two months after the president loudly defended white nationalists at Charlottesville as “some very fine people.”

Absolutely wrong they are bending a knee to the national anthem which is a disgrace to the veterans who are dying for them everyday. What injustice is done for them and their 40 million dollar pension and their haughty lives. It wasn't just one side both parties were guilty of some violence against one another.

    2. They strain to keep faith with America when the attorney general weaponizes the terror of children and the desperation of parents in order to pursue his vision of immigration policy.

The attorney general is not weaponizing children. Parents are told at the border that we will take your children when you come over illegally because they are kids and don't have a decision, but it is still illegal to come over and they will face the consequence.

    1. Within five years, with the creation of dozens more booms, the organization hopes to clean half of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

I think this is great my only concern is will it be a danger to boats or swimmers? Could a propeller get caught or even a swimmer who dives to deep?

    1. stood one after the other before the nation’s elite at Washington National Cathedral on Saturday to honor the man they beat,

I think it is unbelievable these men were aloud at the service yet honorable

    1. On Friday his family attended the commemorative service where McCain’s mother, 106-year-old Roberta, clutched the hand of his daughter, 33-year-old Meghan, who sobbed with raw grief.

I found this interesting that his mother at 106 wasable to her sons memorial at such an honorable of place.
