Whenever there are parties, it seems like he goes with the mindset that he will meet someone there that he might be able to have sex with, rather than to have fun with his friends.
I have noticed this in college atmospheres and in places with large gatherings, where men will go out "with friends" but really use it as an excuse to try to meet women.
