I love this mindset and it is so true. A reader has all the power to determine what the book means and can interpret it in so many different ways. A book is a different meaning to everyone. "Reader's interpretations give the books meaning – the text on the page is not the meaning. People read books and then share with others their reading of the book. Their interpretations are a reflection of the cultural and societal aspects of the world in which exists when they read the book."

Rabelais and his writing very much embody the Renaissance’s humanist spirit. He advocates for a healthy lifestyle because a healthy body leads to a healthy mind (later rearticulated in the inverse as “Sick Body, Sick Mind” by the ska band Operation Ivy).
He makes a very good point how positive mindsets lead to a positive life and healthy body whereas a sick mind leads to a sick body. "Research has shown that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. Maintaining a level of physical fitness and a balanced diet during your time in University will prove to be hugely beneficial to both your physical and mental health."
