    1. dispersed by tear gas after some in the group tried to force their way into the U.S.

It's unfortunate that people have to push the limits and we have to punish them like so. Last time I checked its ILLEGAL to illegally cross the border.

    2. Children were screaming and coughing in the mayhem.

This is not right for the kids. If your parents went to the march the children have no say and have no other option than to attend with them. Horrible that they had to get gassed as well.

    1. Some supermarkets in Australia stopped stocking the fruit, and videos circulated of farmers dumping tons of ripe strawberries.

It only takes one person to ruin it for the rest. People should become aware that a child may bite into one and can possibly die from this. Not a funny joke or something to be proud of.

    2. One 7-year-old girl bit into a contaminated strawberry but was not harmed. Another man from Queensland was less lucky: he was hospitalized after he swallowed half a needle while eating the fruit.

This is just cruel. She knowingly harmed innocent people for absolutely no reason. Who do people do this is todays society?

    1. The boy refused, students said, and video taken by another student shows the boy shouting profanity and a racial slur at Riley, who is black.

Although the student was creating conflict and may have been in the wrong, Mr. Riley needs to realize that he is punching a 14 year old student and that is never acceptable. Child abuse is no joke and Mr. Riley will pay for his poor actions.

    2. standing face to face with a 14-year-old boy at the front of a classroom when Riley punches him.

The situation should have been handled with words instead of fighting. The teacher should not have thrown punches at the boy and should have sent him to the office instead.

    1. The bus was pulled out of the river on Wednesday, and divers have so far recovered 13 bodies with two still missing.

This accident is saddening because the woman and bus driver killed 15 innocent people. The woman shouldn't have attacked the driver and the driver should have followed safety procedures.

    2. who attacked a bus driver after she missed her stop was partially responsible for a dramatic crash in southwestern China that killed all 15 people on board

Why did the woman attack the bus driver after he missed her stop? I understand it can be frustrating since the driver missed the stop, but she clearly was overreacting and shouldn't have gone straight to attacking the bus driver.

    1. $4.3 billion in its first year.

This number is astonishing and I can't believe that sales could reach that high. Could this at all increase the number of teens that start to smoke?

    2. The emerging US industry took in nearly $9 billion in sales in 2017, according BDS Analytics, which tracks the cannabis industry. Sales are equivalent to the entire snack bar industry, or to annual revenue from Pampers diapers

I feel like all this money being brought in from the US would make Canada want to jump right in. Considering the sales were so high in the US it is very likely to have the same effect on Canada, interesting analogy with Pampers lol.

    1. the explosive devices were sent to former secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former president Barack Obama, and Representative Maxine Waters; Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz also had one sent to her

Was there a reason the man sent the packages to these politicians? I'm sure threats similar to this one are very common, but why did the man chose to send one to CNN also?

    2. The discoveries came only two days after a similar explosive device was found in the mailbox of billionaire philanthropist George Soros.

How can we stop people from sending these packages in the future? Is it just a risk that people have to take and have further security deal with?

    1. “I’ll tell you this,” the man told her. “If you don’t go to another seat, I’ll put you into another seat.”

This is so unnecessary for the man to act this way, why can't people learn to respect others and be kind? I feel like there is always going to be some upset old man on every fight, but make sure you're not that guy.

    2. “ugly black bastard” and yelled, “Don’t talk to me in a foreign language, you stupid ugly cow!”

This is ridiculous that people have to be so rude to others. This day and age should be about peace, love, and equality, not discrimination to others.

    1. While U.S. presidents have significant foreign policy powers as a general matter, foreign aid is provided by law enacted by Congress and would have to be changed by law.

This is interesting considering that it may not even happen if Congress doesn't approve. If Trump is going to successfully cut off financial aid to the countries how will this really affect them?

    2. and threatened to cut off aid to three Central American nations for allowing their people to leave.

I believe this is a fair decision for President Trump to make, he wants to stop all illegal immigrating into the US, plus more people here could lead to more threats.

    1. employee fell to the ground and both subjects continued to kick the employee in the head before they ran off

This is an extremely unlucky situation that can't be controlled. You never know when someone is going to act up like this or start a fight.

    2. reached over the bowling counter and punched the employee in the face

Why can't people control themselves and act in a kind matter? There's always going to be 'that guy' who's always is trying to fight. This was similar to that, and is an unfortunate situation.

    1. especially focusing on older females because of their large tusks,

This is sick that people have to kill these amazing creatures just to take their tusks. They are innocent animals that shouldn't be killed off this planet anytime soon.

    2. which kills some 30,000 elephants each year.

How can we reduce this number? Elephants are in danger because of all this poaching going on. If a season is created where hunting is aloud that can reduce the number of elephants being killed, or just make hunting illegal in the first place.

    1. . White didn't shoot down the notion of a rematch, though

I wonder if they will be allowed a rematch in the near future. I'm sure it will be another great fight, hopefully with a different ending though.

    2. UFC president Dana White said he will absolutely not strip Nurmagomedov of his title.

I think this is fair considering that Khabib won the fight fair and square. This is his responsibility and he will be fined appropriately for his actions. I do not think should be punished by belt removal

    1. The city feels on edge. The quake razed the walls of local prisons, letting more than 1,200 convicts loose.

I wonder how this will affect local neighborhoods and areas, not everyday there will be a prison break like this. Will they even try to get all 1,200 back?

    2. In Palu, 80km from the epicentre, it razed buildings and cracked roads. One eight-storey hotel, in which 60 guests were staying, was flattened.

I couldn't even imagine going through what these people do. Not only the damage and repairs that will need to be done but also the PTSD from trauma and losing friends.
