    1. when I first start writing a given piece, every act of revising, proofreading, and editing is an opportunity for me to practice perspective-taking

This is a fantastic piece of advice as to how we can take our self-reflections and turn them into palatable writing pieces for a wider audience; while we are appealing to an audience greater than ourselves or UNIV 301 professor, we can still create a piece that is, at its core, very representative of our own thought processes without outside influences.

I developed problem-solving skills when I tried to figure out how to transform the more complicated toys without looking at directions, but I also learned the value of recognizing the limits of my knowl

I consider this to be a great representation of unconventional or unexpected ways in which we develop new skills every day

    1. active, ongoing reflection throughout this course

I am interested in examining the different methods in which we are encouraged to reflect and how reflections are demonstrated throughout this book
