    1. I told them it was the Sabbath day, and desired them to let me rest, and told them I would do as much more tomorrow; to which they answered me they would break my face. And here I cannot but take notice of the strange providence of God in preserving the heathen

      Disregarding a tradition or day they realize has a day of relaxation or taking a break but instead threatening her if she does not start working

      A huge connection with God to the point she is blaming everything on her disrespecting god

      How would god be with you in this situation? If he was there wouldn't he protect you? Could it be a symbol for something else?

      I don't even know what I would do if I knew not when but that my life soon would come to an end

      I as a person who tends to not be able to sit and read something straight through adding some comedy or sass if very nice cause it would pull my attention more. But it also questions the seriousness of the paper cause if you ad to much it could make it seem sorta of more like a joke

      I feel this didn't finish the story? I feel there's still to many questions and wonders not answered.

      This is an interesting question? Has he been there longer than he thought? Is that how his brothers went missing?

      I'm starting to get lost in the story but I feel that this story is very inspiring.

    4. Deep Lake knew well about the Great Head. It was an enormous head without any body. It had large eyes that rolled about fearfully, and long, coarse hair like that of the grizzly bear, and it streamed over the huge cleft rock that was his home. Seen or unseen, if it caught sight of any living thing it would shriek in a shrill voice, "I see thee, I see thee; thou shalt die!"

      The details in this are very well written and I like that because it's helping me picture the characters.

      I feel as if that this story is was very helpful when teaching younger kids about bravery.

      I love how they measured time on moons, especially seeing how they use the word wolf to talk about people.
