    1. But by himself, from his head, he produced glancing-eyed Tritonis [Athena], 925 fierce, strife-stirring, army-leading, unsubdued, and awesome, to whom dins, and wars, and battle are a delight.

It seems like the only child Zeus produced himself gained all these words of flattery that Zeus himself would want to be associated with. Awesome, a leader, fierce, a war winner, etc.

    2. Either the creator god, source of a better world, seeded it from the divine, or the newborn earth just drawn from the highest heavens still contained fragments related to the skies

It's strange to see how Ovid provides uncertainty in his version. With it not even giving a clear source of where humankind was created from. Maybe this is done in reference to his first line where he says that no version can be agreed upon?

    3. Nothing retained its shape, one thing obstructed another, because in the one body, cold fought with heat, moist with dry, soft with hard, and weight with weightless things.

    6. nor did he consider in his mind that against him for the future his own invincible and untroubled son was left instead of a stone

Here it states that Kronos did not think for a moment that there would be a possibility of rebellion from Rhea for him to not even check whether or not that was his son. So it seems as if he holds a high amount of egotism and power despite the fact that he is only getting rid of his children in fear of one of them subduing him.

    7. as far beneath under earth as the sky is from the earth, for equal is the space from earth to murky Tartaros.

The visual given in this context is very interesting as now the rebellion against the Titans has lead to the Titan's defeat. Earth serves as the exact middle between the heavens and Tartaros with the distance between them and Earth being equal.
