      everything in today's world is solely based on making money and ensuring that corporations or in this case, institutions continue to grow.

    4. What have my students learned? Perhaps not much. Several of them fail every semester: some resist every line of questioning in tutorials, telling me over and over again that they see nothing in the texts I’m reading with them.

      He sees that students today are not only barely doing any work but are barely questioning the meaning of things. I personally disagree i believe that we aren't concentrating on the right curriculum and we should have more eye opening experiences in our reading.
