    1. How is AI currently influencing higher education, and what potential benefits and challenges do you foresee in its continued integration into college classrooms?

Using AI in education and for your career is just as important as using the Microsoft suite. This tool among others is crucial to be able to navigate and use. Employers expect that an employee can use Microsoft just as the will for AI. I think AI is a great tool but just like anything else the user must be smart and not just go crashing around like a bull in a China closet. You don’t want to go putting your personal information or that of your arch-nemeses into the system so that random hackers can ruin your life. My sister’s friend created an entire Country singer out of AI. The AI “person” is releasing a country music album that’s set to come out in February. Yes, this sounds made up but it’s true. The country signer is fake and so is her voice. The story is real.

    2. What are your overall thoughts on ChatGPT? Have you used this tool before?

ChatGPT is OK. I’ve used it and the Douglas County School district using a lot of different AI. We use Khan Academy AI, ChatGPT, and whatever else the district uses, especially since there are new tools that are coming out regularly. The district thinks it’s important to stay in the know on all the different AI.

    3. Give a specific example of how you could use each of these tools in learning?

We could use ChatGPT in this class by helping us expand on our lesson plans, curriculum design, help us look for scholarly articles, be a note catcher, or read some of our readings to us.
