      Interesting how individuals losing everything by their houses being torn down is still better than the community as a whole losing everything to the fire.

      I feel as if the boy taunting the monster referring to him as ugly and saying that he was going to eat him was only him manifesting his fate. While the monster did not eat him, he still ended up dead as he predicted. Had he just calmed down and seen what he wanted or at least psych him into thinking he is listening he probably would have lived beyond that day.

      My cursor did not allow me to highlight the passage correctly but I have more of an open ended question rather than a "problem". Is this passage a true reflection of both how the monster feels on the inside and how he is viewed on the outside?

      This is a posture or the way the body/head is being held. In this context I take it to mean the pose or any material we have once we pass does not matter after time passes

      What makes the poem any different from another that does promote readers to find new emotions?
