On March 10, 1959, Tibetans band together in revolt, surrounding the summer palace of the Dalai Lama in defiance of Chinese occupation forces.
On March 10th the Tibetans came to together in revolt on the same day that I was born about 62 years before. This is why it is an important date to me!
