You don't realize how much of an impact different kinds of art can have on people. Art creates strong emotions within yourself and its also a way for people to connect.
Such metacognition — thinking about one’s own thinking — is a key learning outcome of the University’s Gen Ed curriculum, and will empower you to explore your own thought processes and gain access to completely new ones, no matter your major, career path, or life journey.
I have heard the term metacognition on repeat during my schooling. Teachers really emphasize the importance of metacognition in all different kinds of courses.

I can’t pinpoint exactly when it happened, but one day in high school I found myself with a new group. It was that feeling you get when you realize, “Hey, this is more than just another class full of kids. I’ve got a new group!”
I relate to this sentence because something similar happened to me in high school. I made some of my best friends in one of my classes. It felt like a whole new group.
