He must now determine what is the best way to handle the situation. Is it best to come in earlier when no one is there, or possibly have someone else come in and do it? I am respectfully giving off the responsibility.
What does your receiver need to know?
My receiver needs to know that as much as I want to be there to assist him and the team, the best decision is to stay away for the health of him and everyone else in the room.

What kind of relationship do you have or want to have with your receiver?
I want to have a formal and respectful relationship with my receiver because there are unseen circumstances that can affect my time there.
What outcome do you want to achieve?
I want to successfully letting my boss know that I am unable to join them in the morning for the better health of everyone else and myself. I will let him know that I have already completely some of the leg work, though will not be able to complete the rest.
