I understand some faculty will remember these but I'm not sure invoking an old program is a strong lead to open with. What's the essence of the pitch?

"Got a great idea for improving student learning? ALTfunds can help your idea become reality."

The language here is broad and not immediately clear. Concretely, what does this mean? Maybe "...committed to trying new approaches to learning that improve student success."

This seems vague and potentially meaningless. Maybe more like: Second, proposals must concretely sketch out how this project will be enhanced by collaboration with ALT Lab.
