    1. F I N I S.

In comparison to the last reading that we did this shines a bright light into the admiration of women. As surprising as it is to say I feel like given the time period these pieces were written I feel as though these would be considered more controversial works of literature then those that we read last week which would clearly not be the case in modern times at all. On the contrary the amount of backlash for the latter would be outrageous.

    2. who forgetting they were borne of women,

This is a very strong fact that woman are the creators of life and without woman humans would not be in existence. It is safe to say that women run the world.

    3. Which I haue writ in honour of your sexe, And doe referre unto your Maiestie, To iudge if it agree not with the Text: And if it doe, why are poore Women blam’d, Or by more faultie Men so much defam’d

Compared to what we read last week, this is a much lighter and positive depiction of women. The author shows empathy and understanding toward women.

    4. To the Doubtful Reader

I really like this little note where the author addresses the audience in giving an explanation into how this piece came about and why it has been titled accordingly. I find it very interesting and engaging for the reader and it gives me an incentive to reader further in and learn more.

    1. expected?

Although this piece of literature was easy to physically read and get through, it was hard to proceed on a ethical and emotional aspect because of the things being said about women. I completely get that this was the actual stigma or though at one point and time in history but in a way it really should have never been. I will say I am happy of the leaps and bounds that we've progressed and taken since then and feel a sense of hope to continue progressing in the future as well. Humans are the weirdest species ever, they make my head hurt.

    2. but a froward woman will never be tamed

I see this more as a compliment because the never will and should be tamed. I see this as him giving woman the characteristic of stubbornness which can be a good quality. In being stubborn you have to be strong enough to stand your grown as well so the joke is on him!

    3. most of them degenerate from the use they were framed

When was this written for this author to think it's okay to do so and make it public for others to read his opinion? He must have had some terrible experiences with women or something to make him think in such manner.

    4. trunk full of torments against women

I’m not quite sure how I am supposed to brace myself to get in the right head space to read this passage? I can already tell its going to be very controversial
