There is another public annotation on this webpage on Hypothesis that says the reliance on colour makes it not accessible to colour blindness. Although I agree with this take, I also think the TTC homepage does not rely entirely on colour and symbols to convey its messages. They do use colour and images, but those symbols and colours are always accompanied by text.

Robust - Although there is a lot of information about accessibility on the homepage and the information is clear I think there should be more additional features on the site. especially with such a big emphasis on accessibility they could have included features like screen magnifiers, screen readers and alt text on the images.

Our Work
WWF uses high-contrast text (white text on black backgrounds, or dark text on white). This helps users with low vision or color perception differences (important for ~4% of users who are colorblind). accessibility must not rely on color alone to communicate meaning. Good contrast supports the perceivable principle and helps with digital equity. This high-contrast layout is a good example of the Perceivable principle from WCAG, it ensures people with vision impairments can still read the content.
