    1. However, if philosophy is to serve as an antidote to the resigned acceptance of injustice, a philosophical education must embrace the constructive imagination.

This is the main idea of this entire article, it's to tell the audience that thinking with a philosophical mindset can lead the world to a better place where we don't accept injustices just because it's the way that things have always been, but rather to make the world a better place by replacing outdated ideologies with new ones for the next generations, but in order to do so we must be imaginative and accepting of one another and understanding of one another's situations in our shared reality.

    2. Picture yourself as a young mother with two children. You enrol in university to obtain a bachelor’s degree, hoping to give yourself a better chance at a job that pays a living wage. Maybe you receive government loans to pay for tuition, and rely on your family’s help, but you still don’t have enough to pay for living expenses and childcare. So, you continue working at a job that pays slightly above minimum wage while taking a full load of courses. Every day you wake up early to get the children ready for school and commute an hour or more to university. After class, you pick up your children from school. If you’re lucky, you can drop them off with a relative while you go to work. By the time you return home in the evening, you are tired, but still have many pages to read and assignments to complete. This is your gruelling daily routine.

I remember growing up and seeing my mom go through this exact scenario, I watched as she worked during the day to support my older brother and I, and then leave us with our grandparents so she could drive over an hour away to take classes to get her degree, it was easy for me to put myself in those shoes that it talks about and I think that seeing it firsthand gave me a different perspective on growing up and how my life might look. This is good imagery that captures exactly that.
