Even in modern countries like the U.S., voting and other forms of political participation are skewed toward the elite, those with higher incomes, those who are employed, and those with more education.
I think it's really interesting this situation of the elites voting more and voting skewed against the general population's opinion is very interesting. This Article VI, Section 4 that Florida instituted adds to this issue. As people who are coming back into society after being incarcerated are looking to vote and gain back their rights, this article and action is taking away rights that they have. This is a very informational article and is rightfully so because it is a source that is credible and known for being a reliable, unbiased source that has articles and journals. When looking at articles, especially political ones off this nature, it can oftentimes be skewed information and not actually reliable. Political articles can become very opinionated very easily, and sources such as these ensure that the information and views are unbiased and reliable.
