      The Hebrews were enslaved by Egyptians and had to escape through the Red Sea. This gave birth to the nation of Israel. There is artwork showing the Hebrews hard work on building the civilization for the Egyptians. In the 1920s, Hebrews were not nearly as mistreated as they were back then, however they were still looked down on by society.

The sculpture of the Sphinx was of course built by many slaves. Also, the Sphinx was divine and had supreme intelligence.

This is exactly what many explorers in the 1400’s believed they would see when they stepped foot on the continent for the first time. The more realistic vision of Africa was that someone would probably die if they were to come to the continent.

People were more than likely born into slavery without having any hopes of escaping the harsh and cruel treatment. In the 1800s, the most popular race to enter slavery was people of African decent. Many people were killed due to the harsh treatments of slavery and even after slavery was abolished, there was still a nasty hate toward people of black skin, especially in the South.

Weaponry was being introduced into Africa in the 1920s. Because of this, Africa’s technology was becoming more like the United States. They were trying to catch up with the modern world. Medicine was innovated for warfare in Africa during the 1920s. There was a rapid increase in medical locations and hospitals.
